Forensic Dentistry

Forensic dentistry is the application of dental data to those criminal and civil laws that are implemented by police agencies during a criminal justice system. Forensic dentists are concerned in aiding investigatory agencies to spot recovered human remains additionally to the identification of whole or fragmented bodies. Identification is completed by the comparison of ante-mortem and post-mortem dental records and using the distinctive options visible on dental radiographs.
